Computer simulations be used very much in physics. Simple ones ar used to do demonstrations of basic mechanics problems that would not normally be possible. Complex ones are used to simulate problems involving fluids, plasma, and turbulence. Some of these simulations are so complicated that entire installations are dedicated to them. There are many different applications of physics simulations. Almost all things in physics freighter be demonstrated. However, many of these things are much more fesable to simulate rather than to a physical demosntration. Many mechanics problems fall into this category. While bringing a pool table into the classroom is nearly impossible, running a information processing system program that simulates balls on a pool table is no problem.Also, with a computer program it is possible to simulate ideal situations, with frictionless surfaces, massless wires, and no air drag.Computer simulations also let us examine situations that are unlikely, but comfort demonstrate the basic laws of mechanics.Very often, computers are used to simulate complex systems in physics. Two systems that computers are very often used in study are plasma and turbulence.Computer simulations are used extensivley, if not almost exclusively. Many plasma simulations such as those shown above are simulations of plasma in a Tokomak, a fusion reactor. They are simulated because large amounts of computer time are still cheaper than building a working reactor.TurbulenceComputers are also used for numerical analysis of turbulent flows in fluids. Often, a point-by-point substiitution into the Navier-Stokes Equations (below) will be used. Most simulation of physics is done solely for research.

A. Title The title of this poem suggests that it is about a man, possibly a man people like and possibly a man they do not like. From the vagueness of the title the man could be an outcast. B. Paraphrase When Richard Cory goes downtown, people look at him. He was dressed nice from head to toe, sassy and rattling thin. He was alway quietly well-ordered and human when he talked. But he fluttered when he said, Good morning, and glittered when he walked. He was richer than a king and very well mannered and graceful. We thought he was everything, and wanted to be him. So he worked and waited for light, didnt eat meat and hated the bread, one summer night he went home and shot himself in the head.C ConnotationsThe poem is written in quatrains ABAB, CDCD, EFEF, GHGH and has an irregular rhythm to it. There is imagery in the poem when it says, he glittered when he walked. Everyone like Richard Cory and wanted to be him because he was so perfect, however Richard Cory was still unhappy whic h caused his untimely demise.D. Attitude The speaker in this poem is most liable(predicate) a person from the town that represents the town as a whole, a synecdoche. We, being everyone who had ever seen Richard Cory. The attitude of the speaker is one of possibly reverence. The townspeople liked Richard Cory because of how he was and they were sad to hear that he had killed himself. The attitude of the poet is that what happened had happened and it couldnt be changed. Even though Richard Cory had everything a man could ask for, he was still unhappy. E. Shifts There ar no shifts in speaker throughout the poem but the attitude of the poem takes a turn towards morbid at the end of the final quatrain when he kills himself. The shift is important because it gets to the main point of the story. Just because someone has everything and appears happy, does not mean that is truly how they are. F. Title The title for this poem after reading it could be seen as his epitaph on his gravestone h is name posted at the top and then a small story about his life and

In the United States today there is an epidemic in heath care costs and medical benefit coverage not covering all a patients need leaving victims with large medical expenses. like a shot raising cost of heath care has effected the lower middle class tens of thousands in debt that lead them to bankruptsy but resent laws passed by the Bush presidentship (undoubtedly lobbied by hospitals boards) making it nearly impossible for people in the middle class to wedge chapter 7 bankrupsy that starts them off with a clean start. Instead forcing them to file for chapter 13 that involves large sum of money be produced in *5 yrs with penalties ranging to imprisonment if the debtors defaults on payment. President Bush in a speech on the topic said people have to take responsibility and pay there debt. In this move he completely ignores the rapidly growing conundrum with the heath care system and appeases the insurance companies and the hospitals by forcing patients to extraordinarily high cos t for procedures and my belief that they have patients go through unnecessary treatments to help hospitals assault their raising costs of insurance (only back my personal experience). It is a system of capitalistic heath care and the patients are the ones losing their money to make the rich richer at the expense of quality (or at least effective) heath care to the masses....
